Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom has been plagued with issues recently, which guests are taking particular interest in given the announcement that it would soon be transformed into a Princess and the Frog attraction. Today we found several technical issues fixed, but more have arisen.

At first glance, the fishing goose animatronic that recently fell down seems to be gone…

Well, they just covered the broken goose on Splash Mountain with nets and then laid him down… pic.twitter.com/j2pcnrLZ7A

But after closer inspection, we could tell he’s actually just been covered with fishing nets.

His face and bill are visible poking up from beneath the nets to the left of the boat.

It seems Disney has taken the Jose Carioca approach to hiding this broken animatronic.

The animatronic had to have been moved from his original fallen position to fit all the way in the boat.

Elsewhere, Br’er Fox is successfully hitting Br’er Rabbit with a beehive.

When it comes to other frequent mishaps in the ride, the restored projection scene is still working, however, the “Million Dollar Bunny” was not hopping around as he has been. The jumping water fountains were also working.

Oh boy, I can’t wait for there to be a net put over Bre’er Bear’s tail.
